Business Requirements Analysis
In this activity we will be making a detailed analysis of the manufacturing processes and business requirements that will be needed and important to set a successful operation in Mexico. This analysis will include all physically requirements for the facility; calculations of utilities requirements; initial layout drawings. The result of this analysis will result in a facilities requirements report, that describes the requirements for land, building and infrastructure that will give us the criteria for the Site Search and will be used to evaluate potential locations. This analysis considers such factors as:
- Real estate and facilities requirements
- Human Resources Requirements
- Logistics and Distribution System
- Customer and Supplier base
- Legal and regulatory requirements
With all the information gathered form your project team and our team, we will generate a Site Selection Matrix, which summarize all the business requirements and their weighted importance, this matrix will then be used by our team to search and prepare a comparative evaluation of cites and cities.
One of the most time consuming and complex tasks in the start up of a corporation in Mexico is obtaining the registration, licenses and permits required for a manufacturing operation. Working in conjunction with your team we will gather and submit all the required paperwork to obtain such licenses or permits in the proper sequence, failure to obtain any of these can have costly consequences.
